Publishing Departments

Each of our publishing departments are headed by an experienced industry manager to ensure smooth publishing process.

Company Founder

After years of experience in the publishing industry, I founded Author Gate to build a new traditional publishing company focused on supporting new writers as they work toward becoming published authors. Every member of our team is deeply committed to guiding and supporting our writers in achieving their goals.

"I love hearing stories from our team of authors who we have helped."

Editing Manager

I oversee the editorial team, ensuring quality, consistency, and adherence to deadlines. I manage the editing process, supervise our editors, and maintain our literary and commercial standards.

I also manage our design teams.

"My favourite part of the job is working with our editors to bring our authors' books up to a publishable standard."

Publishing Manager

My job is to oversee the production, distribution, marketing and sales of all of our author's books. I have to coordinate with our pre-production teams and post production partners to ensure that our books are successful as possible.

I also oversee contract rights and the implementation of our marketing strategies.

"I love seeing our author's books being sold in book shops."

Submissions Manager

I manage our team of manuscript assessors ensuring they meet our submission guidelines. I also recommend contract proposals with authors. In addition I also oversee the workflow of signed authors to publication.

"Finding a brilliant concept for a new book is the best part of my job."
